Why can an O-1A petition be denied after meeting three criteria? Does EB-1A approval guarantee O-1A?

Meeting the required number of evidence categories does not automatically establish overall eligibility. O-1A generally requires evidence of a major internationally recognized award or at least three applicable categories, followed by USCIS evaluation of the evidence as a whole. Explain your professional standing and achievements instead of simply checking boxes. EB-1A and O-1A must be assessed separately; approval of one does not guarantee approval of the other.
